Everyone has high hopes for this film, so be among the first to discover whether Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides lives up to the hype by entering our exclusive preview tickets competition.
Clothes on Film has TWO PAIRS of tickets to give away to a special early screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in London’s West End on 9th May at 6.30 pm. Basically that is two winners that can each take along a friend, loved one or harassing relative to see one of the biggest films of 2011 – over a week before it is released!
The plot? Well, Johnny Depp is back as charming pirate Jack Sparrow, this time hunting for the mythical ‘Fountain of Youth’. Expect clashes with his ex-girlfriend, female pirate Angelica (Penélope Cruz), her dad Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard (Ian McShane), reputedly the most fearsome real life pirate ever to roam the seas (he kept burning fuses under his Tricorne hat for dramatic entrances), plus sexy mermaids and the welcome return of Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), now a privateer for the Brits, though likely just as mean as ever.
Once more Penny Rose is on board for costume design having created Jack Sparrow’s classic guise in original film Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and maintained it throughout the trilogy. Her work is always fantastically detailed and probably worth entering this competition for alone.
To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on 9th May at a West London location, all you need to do is provide a satisfying answer to this question:
What would you like to add/change to Jack Sparrow’s pirate costume if you had the chance?
New hat? Eye patch? Lose the bandanna? Whatever you like. The two most interesting or amusing answers win the tickets. Simple.
Email your answer to: SORRY, COMPETITION CLOSED! with your name and the subject heading ‘Pirates tickets please!’ by WEDNESDAY 4TH MAY, 23.59 GMT. We will let the two winners know as soon as possible.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (directed by Rob Marshall) is released in that new fangled 3D on 18th May.
